Sunlight Drawings were made by tracing the outline of the sun coming through a window every 20 minutes for 6 hours. The resulting shapes were then assigned a number corresponding to the number of overlapping layers (1 - 15). These numbers were then used to determine the density of ballpoint pen shading. Each day,a new letter was placed in the window until all 26 letters had been drawn.

Each drawing is 72" x 48" ballpoint pen on paper.
